Welcome to our continued journey in Kingdom Living! When we talk about Kingdom living, we are not referring to a religious lifestyle or a restrictive set of Sunday rules. Instead, Kingdom living is about adapting the mindset, characteristics, behavior, and habits of a Kingdom ambassador. It means becoming the living embodiment of heaven’s culture 24/7—operating in this world while understanding that you are not of it.

Throughout His ministry, Jesus emphasized one central message: the Kingdom of God. He was announcing that a new governmental rule, reign, and jurisdiction had arrived to transform earth's culture. To truly walk in this reality, we must understand the document that governs it—the Constitution of the Kingdom.

What Is the Kingdom and Its Constitution?

  • The Kingdom defined: The Kingdom is a present reality. It is the active, ruling presence of God that invades our natural realm right now. When the Kingdom manifests, earthly conditions—sickness, lack, and confusion—must bow and come under subjection to God’s rule.

  • The Constitution defined: In simple terms, a constitution is a legal contract. It outlines three critical things:

    1. The Law

    2. The Rights of the citizens

    3. The Obligations of the government

The Bible is the legal Constitution of Heaven. It reveals exactly what the King is obligated to do for us and outlines our rights as citizens of Heaven.

Why Engaging with the Constitution Matters

Engaging with the Word of God daily is vital to spiritual survival and transformation. When we do not understand how God operates through His Word, we end up expecting Him to violate His own laws on our behalf—something He will never do. God never breaks His Word; He only fulfills it.

Research from the Center for Bible Engagement shows a stark contrast between those who consistently read the Bible and those who do not:

  • Individuals who engage with the Bible fewer than 4 times a week show statistically identical lifestyle patterns to non-readers.

  • Individuals who engage with the Word at least 4 times a week experience staggering life transformations:

    • Loneliness drops by 30%

    • Anger issues drop by 32%

    • Alcoholism drops by 30%

    • Spiritual growth increases by over 200%

B.I.B.L.E.: Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth

The Bible is not just a standard book; it is our living roadmap. Think of B.I.B.L.E. as an acronym: Basic Instructions Before Leaving E.Every word is the very breath and spirit of God. When you read it, you are downloading the mind of Christ and stepping into the legal authority He has provided.

The Power of "It Is Written"

In Matthew 4:1-11, during His temptation in the wilderness, Jesus responded to every single attack and trick of the enemy using three simple words: "It is written."Jesus did not argue logic with the devil; He simply enforced the Constitution. In Joshua 1:8, God gave Joshua a clear instruction that guarantees victory: keep the book of the law in your mouth and meditate on it day and night to prosper and have good success. The Kingdom is voice-activated and governed by words. You do not just read the Word—you enforce it by speaking it over your circumstances.

The Two Dimensions of God’s Word

To effectively enforce Kingdom culture, it helps to understand two distinct dimensions of the Word of God:

  1. Logos (Written Word): This is the permanent, written constitutional record of God’s will. It is unchanging and carries binding authority.

  2. Rhema (Spoken Word): This is the active, spoken decree—God’s Word hitting the atmosphere in real time.

Think of a police officer who carries the law book in his car (Logos). The book itself does not stop traffic; the officer must step out, raise a hand, and speak with authority (Rhema) to enforce the law. In the same way, as Kingdom ambassadors, we take the written Logos and speak it out as a Rhema decree to align our homes, health, and finances with Heaven’s culture.

Scripture References to Meditate On

  • Matthew 6:10 – “Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”

  • Matthew 4:1–11 – The temptation of Jesus in the wilderness and the power of declaring "It is written."

  • Joshua 1:8 – “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night…”

Begin declaring "It is written" over every situation in your life that violates Kingdom principles—whether it is sickness, anxiety, or financial difficulty. Take the written Word, declare it with your mouth, and enforce the culture of Heaven in your life today.
